We invite you to an exhibition of award-winning proposals for the revitalization of Charles IV Square in Brno-Líšeň

At the exhibition in the lobby of the Brno-Líšeň town hall from June 8, you can view our proposal to restore the traditional heart of Stará Líšeň as a full-fledged center of social life, which won second place in a recent architectural and urban planning competition. In June, the awarded designs will be moved from the town hall lobby to Charles IV Square, where they will be on view throughout the summer.

Our team of architects including Idil Kücük, Michal Šourek, Pavel Hřebecký, Martin Studnička, Jakub Mazur, Nick Anthony Duero and Kseniya Bahdanovich designed a square and a green oasis with pond in a city park. The bus and tram station accompanied with a regenerated square is connected by a linear park including bays with seating, a sports area and playgrounds. We also designed various categories of new housing and spaces for a community center, cafes and restaurants in various abandoned spaces.

In our design, the Charles IV Square becomes the center of gravity in the area, which will offer a sensitive combination of paved areas and greenery, as well as new places for recreation and relaxation, a playground, a pond and an attractive water cascade. The northern part of the square is co-created by the sober architecture of a new building, a large-capacity store of the COOP retail chain.
