We are preparing complex revitalization of the port in Podolí including making the extended port branch available; we want to support semi-natural character of the port in accordance with the concept of the Vltava River banks. The concept of the entire area is based on the idea of the dynamic public space on the river bank connecting the specific port life with the urban structure and providing the view of Vyšehrad and the opposite bank of the river Vltava. In addition to restored and newly built facilities for laying up leisure and sports crafts in water we have also designed facilities for sport clubs and athletes at the river banks meeting current needs; contemporary facilities of sports and leisure port including accommodation facilities and restaurants as well as sports base for Charles University. Overall revitalization and making the bank of the Vltava river available will mean the renovation of the unique locality connecting the urban area with nature and a watercourse.
