Construction of La Lorraine’s high-tech area in Kladno designed by our studio proceeds as planned

We have designed the extension of the area for La Lorraine, bread and pastry producer and distributor in Kladno with new production, storage, as well as technical and administrative facilities for plant operation. The production will be promoted by production lines, premises and technologies for loading finished products in trucks and distribution. The new cold storage warehouse with the floor plan of 130m x 45m and 40m in height was a challenge. The warehouse will have a unique technology ensuring the temperature of -25°C and a protective atmosphere with low oxygen concentration inside. Integration of the warehouse in a set of area materials and technological lines and the landscape was not an easy thing. More comfortable and better structured paths for employees were also designed: a new pedestrian overpath will safely and quickly interconnect new parking places. Energy efficiency and energy savings were the criteria of the project. The result is an extended, efficient and functioning production area where production and transport areas are intermeshed with vegetation and comfortable environment for employees.
