The kindergarten in Lysá nad Labem designed by our studio has served children for seven years

A decision has been made to extend the capacity of the kindergarten in Brandlova street, Lysá nad Labem by constructing a new building on the land lot of the kindergarten. The building tucks away in and protrudes from the surrounding landscape creating a playful area in the context of the existing garden. A poetic and geometrically precise spiral partially embedded in the terrain provides premises for 25 children. Its original shape enables multiple and flexible usage and the building with a slide create the playground. The garden is accessible without any unnecessary barriers and inspires children to play. Inner premises of the kindergarten including play corners, canteen, washrooms and common premises are connected with the large garden.
