Stavbaweb.cz writes about our proposed revitalization of former sawmill complex

Our proposal addresses the new use of the site, including landscaping and transport solutions of the former Křižanova sawmill and the area around the train station in Valašské Meziříčí. We have proposed a bold idea, which is a starting point for the conceptual transformation of the former industrial area.

The design includes the sensitive regeneration of the area including planning for infrastructure which aims to make an unhappy location a dignified and sought-after part of the city in the future. In addition to the new infrastructure that will improve the traffic situation in the area, we have also designed the town hall building, transport terminal with roof parking, new apartment buildings and park. The apartment buildings will include green terraces and commercial space for offices, shops, restaurants, and cafes at ground level.

The layout and scale of the site focuses on connectivity with existing areas of the city including to the Křižná housing estate. Overall, the scheme will create an impressive gateway to the city with attractive public spaces. Stavbaweb.cz
