A friendly square with a market and green spaces will be the focus of a regenerated and sensitively complemented area surrounded by the protected landscape area of ​​Žďárecké Vrchy in the vicinity of the historical center of Žďár nad Sázavou. The multi-purpose area of ​​the square will open up opportunities for social activities from farmers' markets to street concerts and open-air exhibitions or neighbourhood meetings. The square will be followed by a structure of sympathetic public spaces and multifunctional construction, which, in addition to new housing, will also offer job opportunities and an active ground floor with suitable spaces for shops, service establishments, cafés and restaurants.

The proposed construction of the new district forms both the square - the new social and cultural center of the modern part of the city and the friendly atriums, green courtyards, passages and new streets leading to the historic center. The green courtyards of apartment buildings will be complemented by private front gardens of ground-floor apartments, community gardens, playgrounds and café terraces.

The jury and the city management were convinced by the concept of all-round development of the city district, which is based on the needs of the city and its inhabitants, to win the design of the MS plan studio in the architectural and urban competition Potential of the City of Žďár nad Sázavou. Premature demolition is eliminated by involving some existing buildings in the proposed solution and, together with new construction, will offer multi-purpose spaces suitable for business incubators, traditional offices, coworking spaces, surgeries or a kindergarten.
