No construction takes place! Why?

The Construction Forum has issued the first of a series of articles by Michal Šourek, a modern-time architect.

No construction takes place! First, the reason was attributed to the mortgage crisis. But it has been several years since it is over and yet – no construction takes place. This non-constructing is so obvious that even Prague’s political representatives stop casting any doubts on its. “It is your own fault – it’s a consequence of your choice in 2010 elections!” – the current mayor of Prague dissociates herself from general inability or rather unwillingness of municipal councils to overcome negative attitude of their electorate to construction. And much more could – and probably should – be constructed in almost entire CR, not only in Prague.
