Public space next to new Childrens Centre will come to life at the Sculpture Line Festival

The House of Children and Youth in Ústí nad Orlicí is nearing completion  and will be joined by a lively public space. Architects Linda Svobodová, Jakub Mazur, Michal Šourek, Pavel Hřebecký, Milan Ševčík and Nick Anthony Duero designed a small, friendly square for markets, fairs, concerts, open-air exhibitions, nature park and an amphitheater.

The sensitive public space will be complemented by the work of sculptor Alexandra Koláčková. Sculptures of open palms will connect Ústí nad Orlicí with the international sculpture festival Sculpture Line in which 40 cities and 15 countries will participate this year. Almost ninety installations by leading Czech and foreign sculptors are being prepared.

Details can be found on the official website of the City of Ústí nad Orlicí.
