Apartments in historic chateau development near completion

At the beginning of this year, the main structure was completed on twenty high standard apartments at Jinonický dvor in Prague’s Jinonice district and with the arrival of autumn, the first facades will be added to the building. The apartments are situated in a new building which is the first in three stages of reconstruction of the Jinonice Chateau – a former farmstead from the 17th century. The reconstruction of this chateau and its large court will include offices, additional housing as well as restoring a local brewery which existed until the end of the 19th century.

The second stage will include the sensitive restoration of the Jinonice Court itself, where we also designed several exclusive apartments inspired by the building’s history. Part of the restoration of this cultural monument will include among other things, the preservation of a recently discovered medieval stronghold – the well preserved ruins of the 14th century structure will be preserved for future generations. The third and last stage consists of the construction of five modern villas. These will connect the area of Jinonický dvor with the rest of the town and help to unify the currently fragmented area.
